Christina is a Senior Visual Designer at Cooper with a background in writing, photography, and teaching. Her design work ranges from identity development for startups and non profits to developing visual systems for complex enterprise applications. She believes that her best work comes from collaboration and a deep understanding of the user and the context of the design. As a passionate educator she mentors young designers and helps to develop curriculum that she teaches at Cooper U.
Before joining Cooper, Christina lived in Brooklyn and worked with design firms like Hot Studio and Catalyst Group. She holds a MFA in graphic design from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and recently published her graduate thesis, titled Critiqued: Inside the Minds of 23 Leaders in Design, which documents her journey through an iterative design experiment. Her book was named one of the Top 10 design books of 2013 by Fast Company. Christina grew up sailing in the Great Lakes and continues to sail competitively in the bay. She also enjoys seeing live music and making planes with her nephew.
