How it works
Take the courses
No yawn-worthy lectures here! Each course offers dynamic, hands-on training in the foundational methods and skills of design thinking.
Earn a certificate
Once you’ve completed the three-course series, you’ll receive a Design Thinking Fundamentals certificate.
The program has three consecutive courses:
To deepen your knowledge in design thinking, you’ll need a solid foundation. In this first course, we focus on an in-depth understanding of your customers and their goals.
The second course dives into the tools you need to understand the journey your customer makes with your product or service.
This hands-on practice course delves into a range of research methods that will help you build a better understanding of your customers.

Upon completion of any course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion badge through LinkedIn that you can add to your profile. We also offer two certificate programs — for individuals or organizations — that will cultivate a deeper knowledge of design thinking. Design Thinking Fundamentals is a three-course series focused on the core mindset and methodology of human-centered design. Advanced Design Leadership is a five-course series that teaches the fundamentals of design thinking and ways to mobilize others towards a shared vision. To learn more, visit our certificate series page.
Certificate badges are distributed upon completion of the course. Add them to your LinkedIn profile to share what you’ve learned and stand out from the crowd in your professional network
We have recommended tracks for our courses, but there are no prerequisites. We do recommend some of our more advanced classes like Facilitating Design Thinking and Design Leadership for more experienced practitioners.
