Cooper U is a practical collection of courses that help product team members improve their effectiveness from early planning all the way through implementation. Whether you’re a product manager or programmer who’s new to design or an experienced designer in need of kindred spirits, you’ll leave Cooper U informed and inspired.
Although we offer some theoretical material, we focus on skills and tools that will help you solve the problems you face every day. That's why every Cooper U course emphasizes hands-on exercises and why every Cooper U instructor is one of our most senior practicing designers. We limit our courses to 20 people to ensure that you get plenty of personal attention and coaching.
The four-day Interaction Design Practicum is our foundation course, covering everything from initial research through developing an interaction design framework. Our Visual Interface Design course will help you turn that framework into a product that inspires lust as well as loyalty. And to help make sure your design gets built instead of gathering dust on a shelf, take our two-day class in Communicating Design.
We teach courses throughout the year in San Francisco. We can also offer these courses as well as custom training or speaking at your premises.
