Last month, we asked you to design a poster for the “Woodstock of UX”, our upcoming UX Boot Camp. You've been tweeting your designs and your process, and, boy, have we been impressed by your entries! We had a terrifically hard time choosing the winner, but after careful consideration Cooper staff members selected one lucky winner to attend our Petaluma, California UX Boot Camp on October 8th.
Congratulations, Vanessa D'Aleman!
Here's a sneak peek into her process:
We loved Vanessa's submission because it's unique, grabs attention, has a sketchy feel (we'll be doing lots of sketching at UX Boot Camp), and unbeknownst to Vanessa (but oh-so-relevant), the Cooper's have chalkboard wayfinding signs throughout the farm that are reminiscent of her design. Plus, she went way above and beyond with this tweet (and we couldn't agree more):
"Extra Credit: Branding. A great brand is worth a thousand words"
We can't wait to see Vanessa at our October 8th Petaluma, California UX Boot Camp! There were so many groovy approaches to this contest, we just have to call out some of the other contenders that really struck our fancy:
