Design Intern

Our internship program is a three-month, paid position in San Francisco geared towards current grad students, recently graduated students, or truly exceptional undergrads. We’re looking for both interaction and visual designers who have a mix of self-motivation, design skills, open-mindedness, curiosity, empathy and thirst for knowledge.

As an intern, you’ll get a chance to work on a variety of projects - depending on what’s currently in the studio, and may include both client and internal work. A glimpse into your internship world at Cooper may encompass taking part in user research, concept explorations, and detailed design. Along the way, you’ll have a mentor to guide you through project work, and another to help you reach larger career goals. We’ll make sure that you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved and that you get as much as you can out of your experience at Cooper.

Ideal candidates will be currently enrolled in an interaction design (or similar, relevant course of study) Master’s program with 1+yr relevant work experience. If you aren’t a grad student, but know that you are a rock star recent grad/undergrad designer who can put your skills to the test, by all means, please apply!
